Aaron K. Ladd
Aaron K. Ladd, sophomore at the University of Missouri, is originally from Stone Mountain, Georgia. Aaron was approached in English class by his teacher with a freelance opportunity for the school paper sparking his passion for journalism.

Since this piece, he has been published in two daily newspapers (New Orleans Advocate and Columbia Missourian), served as the sports editor and Editor-in-Chief for his high school paper, and won multiple national scholarships through the Dow Jones News Fund and National Association of Black Journalists.

In his time away from school, Ladd enjoys hanging out with friends, listening to music and speaking German. Aaron, has learned and practiced German since the fourth grade taking a 12-day excursion through Germany in 2009.

Aaron's favorite comedian is Dave Chappelle.
